The primary goal is to aid in adapting to both the unique Australian lifestyle and the peculiar dialect of English spoken in the country.

Understanding that language acquisition encompasses more than mere grammar and classroom settings, Aussie English recognizes that advanced learners seek a deeper connection with the language. Immersing oneself in the culture, capturing humor, pop-culture references, slang, and mannerisms allows individuals to mold a new identity in English while preserving elements of their native language.

My journey began back in 2015 in the midst of completing my PhD in biology. Surrounded by international friends proficient in multiple languages while living in Melbourne, I embarked on creating a resource to bridge learning Australian English with adapting to life Down Under.

Transitioning from academia to podcasting as a full-time pursuit, my aim is to support individuals in mastering English and acclimating to Australian life.
